Introducing the Storm Flo® Screen
Certified Full Capture Linear Radial Gross Solids Removal Device
The Storm Flo® Screen is a certified full capture system capable of collecting gross solids transported by storm water. When storm water passes through the screen's perimeter perforation, debris collects inside the device. The device can then be easily cleaned with the simple top-opening hatches for vacuum removal.
Linear Radial Design Specifications
Louvers face away from direction of flow to reduce clogging. In this picture, flow is from the back to the front of the image.
Note that no overflow is shown. Without an overflow, the street could be flooded if the device clogs.
- Utilizes modular well casings with 5 mm (0.25-inch nominal) louvers
- Contained in a concrete vault or on open pad
- Flows pass radially through the louvers
- Litter and solids are trapped in casing
- Smooth bottom conveys litter to the end of the device
- No standing water eliminates vector problems
- Manufactured of galvanized or stainless steel (Types 304 or 316L)
- Screens available in diameters from 6 to 72 inches
Manufactured to meet site specific requirements:
Screen diameters, lengths, perforation patterns, and custom fittings are fabricated to the owner's specifications. By design, the overflow sections eliminate all backup in the stormwater conveyance system. The Storm Flo® Screens can be designed to contain a full storm season's amount of debris without impeding the passage of stormwater.
- The modular screen sections are manufactured for site specific needs such as diameter and length.
- For corrosion resistance the screens are available in galvanized and stainless steel.
- Special fittings and access features can be installed to facilitate cleaning and maintenance.
