Roscoe Moss Company HistoryThe early migration of settlers to the western United States
brought a need for assured water supplies in that vast, largely arid region. Water
for agriculture, mining and transportation coupled with an exploding population,
required deep water wells and the development of products of unusual strength and

In 1926, Roscoe Moss Company moved to its present location and
built a factory for the manufacture of well casing, a natural extension to their
traditional role as water well drilling contractors. Since that time, the addition
of new products and continuing innovations in manufacturing methods have placed
Roscoe Moss Company in a unique position as the world's premier provider of water
well casings and screens.
Roscoe Moss Company truly Pictured on left. Pumping a 20" diameter, 800' well in Ventura County, CA. Roscoe Moss (pictured in background) joined S.A. Clampett and Company in 1906. He became sole owner in 1920 and the company was renamed.
